Words on the Water
A local storytelling and roundtable event in celebration of pre-contact people. Roundtable public talks featuring subject matter experts and community, institutional knowledge. The first half of the event is a prepared speech and the second half is a community conversation where wisdom and knowledge are pooled to foster better understanding. Or sometimes greater confusion. Walking away from a conversation realizing that the world is more complicated than we thought is an entirely satisfactory result.
